Science Fair Resources
Write your ideas and guidelines for a science fair!
  • We should have their projects be either electronic or not.
  • Both ways should have to post one picture of their project or link to it before the project deadline.
  • There should be a people limit for amount of people allowed to work in a group.
  • There should be an entry fee if they want to be judged and possibly get a prize.
  • If they wish not to be judged or are having financial issues they don't have to pay the fee.
  • Judges should be any teacher with a degree for science or language arts.
  • Judges should deliberate and announce winners the next morning on announcements.
  • Prizes should be objects with turtles but not money. - Who just wants to get their money back?
  • Judges need to be signed up with Mrs.Laguna- if there is an even amount of judges then Mrs.Laguna becomes a judge!
  • Names should not be on projects. Only numbers in the order of which their pictures are posted online!
  • Students may view projects, but the ultimate decision is the judges.
  • The shout team counts as a judge. Their 2/3 majority will determine their vote.
  • The team needs not to vote for their friends but for the most interesting, grammatically correct, scientific method project.
  • Students must have the steps of the scientific method on their project.
  • No living organisms other then humans may be present at the science fair.
  • Shout team can bake to bring in food to put out for observers, judges, and project makers.
  • Project makers are responsible for assembling and disassembling their project.
  • Any project not set up or not taken down will be disqualified from the judging!
  • Any project that doesn't follow the scientific method will be disqualified from judging!
  • These rules are here to be guidelines for this year and years to come, but aren't set in stone and may be modified.
